Inventory, assets and tools across stores and job sites
In fourteen weeks we brought stock, fixed assets and site tools into one portal for a contractor operating five stores and multiple active sites. The register connects what is on hand, what has been requested and what is out on a project.

The challenge
Each store kept its own spreadsheet, and transfers often left no record. Requests arrived by message, so reconciling stock against active jobs took days and shortages surfaced when an item was needed.
Our approach
We defined one item model for stock, consumables, assets and tools, tied to store, project and account. A movement timeline records receipts, deliveries and returns. Requests, availability and reporting use those same records, giving stores and project teams a shared view.
Outcome
- Inventory operating cost reduced by 29% in the first year
- Stock, assets, tools and consumables searchable across five stores
- Low-stock alerts and item categories supporting day-to-day purchasing
- Movement history traceable from purchase to delivery by store, project and account
“Any tool, on any site, traced back to the project that took it. The monthly reconciliation used to take me three days. Now I just read it.”Nasser Al-Sulaiti — Stores manager, Rukn Contracting
